Pala Vietnamia

Näin vain pyörähti käyntiin meidän Vietnamin matka :) Tosin täytyy todeta, että ensi kerralla alustavat valmistelut voisi aloittaa hieman aikaisemmin ( kerkesimme nukkumaan viime yönä vain 2,5 tuntia ). Lento Vaasasta Helsinkiin meni hyvin, vaikka kesävaatteissa vähän kylmä koneessa olikin :) Helsingin lentokentällä vastassa olikin sitten melkoinen "laukkujumi", kuten alla olevasta kuvasta näkyy..  Meidän laukut toki tulivat ripeästi ja yhtä ripeästi saimme checkattua ne myös seuraavalle lennolle. E-liput ja automaatti Check-in ovat kyllä maailman helpoin tapa kirjautua lennolle! :)

So here we go now, our trip to Vietnam started today :) Altough we have to admit that next time it would be better to start the packing little bit earlier ( we slept only 2,5 hours last night ). The flight from Vaasa to Helsinki went well, although we were freezing as we had our summer gear on :) In Helsinki we faced the " luggage mountain " as you can see from the picture below, but luckily we got our luggeges well in time.. Once again I have to say that e-tickets and automatic check-in machines rocks, it is so easy way to check-in to flights! :)

Aika uskomaton olo kyllä kieltämättä on vieläkin, että oikeasti siis olemme nyt matkalla Vietnamiin ja vielä kokonaiseksi kuukaudeksi. Mutta kaitpa se matkan alku tässä seuraavien tuntien aikana konkretisoituu, lennellessä kentiltä toisille :)

It feels still quite unbelievable that we are actually on our way to Vietnam and that we will stay there for one month. But I'm sure the trip will become more concrete while flying through all the international airports :)

Nyt istumme täällä Helsinki-Vantaan lentokentällä ja odotamme 11.40 lähtevää seuraavaa lentoa. Muutama Euroopan lento on jo peruttu tai siirretty seuraavalle päivälle, mutta toivon mukaan itse pääsemme eteenpäin ajoissa. Seuraava etappi onkin sitten Varsovan lentokenttä Puolassa, Frederic Chopin, jossa odotusaika seuraavalle lennolle onkin ruhtinaalliset 10 tuntia :)

Now we are sitting here in Helsinki-Vantaa airport and wait the next flight to take off around 11.40 to Frederic Chopin airport, Warsaw Poland. There we have to wait our next flight for 10 hours :)

Perinteen mukaan joimme ensimmäisenä täällä Hesan kentällä aamukahvit ja niin ihanan lämpimät tuoreet croissantit. Aamupalan jälkeen päätin tehdä aloituspostauksen matkastamme, koska varmaa tietoa ei ole siitä koska seuraavan kerran pääsee koneelle..

As a tradition, we had our morning coffees and croissants at the airport in Helsinki. They are always so fresh! After the small breakfast I decided to do this first posting about the start of our trip... mainly because we never know when is the next time we have a access to internet...
